This was our first time WWR and we’re so glad we went with Downstream Adventures. It was toward the end of the season and we were so thankful to still be able to do this. We still had the time of our lives. Kurt, our guide, was very knowledgeable and experienced at WWR. We felt prepared for what could happen and what we needed to do. I would highly recommend booking your next WWR at whatever level you want!

The wife and I went on the INTERMEDIATE trip with Downstream Adventures in August. Office staff was great and efficient, our safety lecture was complete, and out guide Curt could not have been better. Since the water was rather low they took us on the ADVANCED portion of the river. It was great, class 3-4 rapids, stopped to eat wild raspberries – a great trip. We highly recommend Downstream Adventures for your Idaho Springs/Black Hawk area rafting trip on Clear Creek.

Had an amazing time!!! The tour guide was friendly, helpful, and made the trip full of fun, laughter, and memories! We were college kids trying to make the most of Colorado on a tight budget and this whitewater rafting tour was worth the money! Would recommend 100%!

The employees were all very nice and helpful. Our guide Russel was amazing, he definitely knew the waters and knew what he was doing. we were very inexperienced and we weren’t in sync paddling but he got us through it without anyone falling out. Will definitely go back!

I had read the reviews of others who claimed that they chose Downstream because it is smaller and you feel more connected. I couldn’t agree more. As we were getting on the creek, I could see another company getting ready to begin in about 30 minutes. They had a group of 60. I would not have liked that. I liked that Downstream ensures that you feel special and not one of a massive group. Would definitely choose them again.

Rafting with Downstream Adventures was just what the doctor ordered. We were in Denver for a gathering and a three hour float down the creek was perfect. The adventure was fun and close to Denver. Highly recommended for anyone looking to go rafting with a great company.

Went with a big group of friends after a wedding, really big water this year. Guides took the time to educate and get a lot of the first timers comfortable. The guides were absolutely top notch. Safty kayaker was there for rescues and made everyone feel safe. Can’t thank the staff enough for such a good trip. Such a good experience with them, I wouldn’t go rafting with any other company. Don’t forget to tip your guides!!! They work hard to keep you safe and make sure you have a great time!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We were a big group of 20 ppl with young children. Casey and Jordon were our guides for the intermediate and beginner level rafting and both were great. We had good fun!

We wanted a rafting trip not too far from Denver. This venue offered an entertaining time with knowledgeable staff and good safety training. I enjoyed my time there and would go there again.

We had a group of 24 kids and Downstream Adventures gave us the lowest price and a great whitewater rafting trip. The guides were great and the kids all had a good time. Highly recommended.

We have taken numerous rafting trips over a 25 year period. This was one of if not the best. Its a relatively quick trip, but there’s a lot of whitewater packed into two hours. Our guides, Casey and Jordan, made the trip really fun for our group of 12. The trip felt personalized and very different from some of the larger outfitters. We will be returning to run Clear Creek again with Downstream

Our group of 12 – with 5 teenagers – had a great experience with Jordan and Casey. Half of us had never rafted before. They were knowledgeable, personable and great teachers. We definitely recommend Downstream!
