Our Clear Creek Rafting Trips
Directions from Winter Park to Clear Creek
Our Clear Creek Location is also a straight shot down US-40 from Winter Park. You will take US-40 E as if you were heading to Denver. The town that you pass after going over Berthoud Pass will be Empire and that is where our outpost is located. We are in the second to last building on your left as you exit Empire. Map services such as Google Maps may recommend that you use the address: 409 Park Avenue, Idaho Springs, CO. This isn’t our official address, but it (somehow) takes you to the right spot.
The total trip time should be about 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. It is important to arrive at our base 30 minutes before your scheduled trip time in order to sign waivers and get changed. I-70 can have heavy traffic, so it is best to check travel conditions when planning your drive.
Directions from Winter Park to Colorado River
Kremmling is a straight shot down Highway 40 from Winter Park. Leaving Winter Park you will take US-40 East for approximately 50 miles. Use the address: 200 W Park Ave, Kremmling, CO 80459. As you enter the town of Kremmling, we are the red building on the right after the Kremmling Mercantile. There is a very large flag pole in our parking lot that can be used as a landmark.
